1. Who we are

The Alchemy Trading operates the Alchemy Terminal at terminal.thealchemytrading.com. For data protection matters, contact us at info@thealchemytrading.com.

2. What data we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive:

• Your name and email address
• Your Google profile picture

If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID — never your card details.

We also store: your subscription tier, account creation date, and last login date.

3. Legal basis for processing

• Contract — processing your login and subscription is necessary to provide the service you signed up for
• Legitimate interest — we store last login date to manage active accounts and detect misuse
• Legal obligation — we may retain transaction records as required by law

4. Data processors

We share data with the following third-party processors only as necessary to operate the service:

• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com)
• Google — authentication (google.com)
• Vercel — application hosting (vercel.com)
• Railway — database hosting (railway.app)
• Resend — transactional email (resend.com)

We do not sell or rent your data to any third party.

5. Cookies

We use a single strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and does not require consent under ePrivacy rules. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

6. Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account record is kept for 90 days then deleted unless you request earlier deletion.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your account and personal data
• Restriction — request we limit how we use your data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

You can delete your account directly from your Settings page inside the terminal. For other requests, email info@thealchemytrading.com and we will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

Your data is stored on encrypted infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. We do not store passwords or payment card details.
